Mini Horsemanship School
The Equilibrium at TerraNova Mini Horsemanship School offers students ages 5–17 an immersive experience in horse ownership without the commitment. Designed for kids who love spending time at the barn, this membership-based program combines weekly lessons with the freedom to explore their interests during open hours, whether grooming, bathing, taking trail walks, or simply spending time with the horses. Students also help train our program horses, building confidence and horsemanship skills as they introduce them to new experiences and environments. Throughout each session, members have opportunities to attend horse shows with the Equilibrium herd, participate in performances in front of TerraNova Horse Show audiences, and become part of a community that celebrates learning, friendship, and a deeper connection with horses. Offered in seasonal sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring).
Mini Horse Discovery Sessions
Join us for hands-on fun with our mini herd in these one-hour sessions. Children ages five to twelve learn new horsemanship skills, make crafts and meet new friends on select horse show days on the TerraNova Equestrian Center showgrounds. Stick around to play in Tiny Town afterwards, enjoy local food trucks, and a day at the horse show.
Camps
Our seasonal summer and winter camps offer week-long and day camp experiences designed for different age groups and interests. Through themed activities, crafts, horsemanship, and adventures with our miniature horse herd, children build friendships, discover new interests, and create lasting memories.
Lessons & Clinics
Our lessons offer children and adults the opportunity to develop practical horsemanship skills through groundwork, riding, and hands-on experiences with horses. Whether working with your own horse or our miniature horse herd, instruction is tailored to your goals and experience level, with an emphasis on confidence, communication, and a deeper understanding of the horse. Beyond regular lessons, clinics and obstacle course days provide opportunities to explore new skills.
